Charles "Peanut" Tillman's Career

Peanut Tillman announced his retirement from the NFL on July 18th, 2016, ending an outstanding 13 year career. Tillman spent his first 12 seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears after being selected in the 2nd round of the 2003 NFL draft (35th overall). Tillman spent his last season with the Carolina Panthers.

In his career, Tillman forced 44 fumbles, accumulated 38 interceptions and scored nine defensive touchdowns. Tillman also accounted for 773 tackles, 126 passed defensed and three sacks in 168 games in the league.

Tillman played in two Super Bowls in his illustrious career, Super Bowl XLI with the Chicago Bears, and Super Bowl 50 with the Carolina Panthers. Tillman was also named the NFL's Man of the Year for the 2013 season.
