Panthers News: Training Camp Day 1 Edition

The Carolina Panthers open training camp July 28th at Wofford College for the upcoming 2016 season. Here is the latest news and notes to get you ready for day one.

The Panthers and safety Kurt Coleman agreed to a three year contract extension yesterday, locking up Coleman through the 2019 season in Carolina.

Linebacker Luke Kuechly (shoulder) and wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (knee) have both been medically cleared for full practice to begin training camp.

Cornerback Bene Benwikere will begin the 2016 season on the PUP list after sustaining a season ending ankle in late last season.
