Former St. Louis Cardinal and Atlanta Brave pitcher and current Arizona Diamondback pitcher Shelby Miller, who is in the middle of an absolute disastrous season with the Diamondbacks is apparently drawing a lot of interest on the trade market, which may surprise many, especially due to the sharp decline Miller has taken this year.
From the Diamondbacks:
Shelby Miller has had a disaster of a season after the Diamondbacks gave the Braves way too much for him this past offseason. Will they trade him now, the most buy-high-sell-low move imaginable? They are reportedly open to it and general manager Dave Stewart says they have gotten "a ton" of interest in him.
Miller is a better pitcher than the year he is having this season, it is most likely a fluke, so a change of scenary may be just what Miller needs.
